Building New Cabinets Around The Fridge
If we are dreaming of making our kitchen more attractive and pleasing to the eyes, same as needing an extra storage for our kitchen materials, a new cabinet would be a perfect solution. Placing the cabinets around the fridge will make the whole kitchen look more organized and ordered. It completely transforms the whole kitchen into a more elegant looking room.

- Next step is the measuring of the fridge. Remember that the fridge cabinet is just like any other ordinary cabinet, so there will be no complications in measuring. It’s just lie measuring any other cabinets. Start by making the cabinet 24 inches deep. This might sound too low, but when it is a fridge cabinet, it is ideal for it to be more spacious. The closer it gets to the fridge, the better it will look. Plus, it would be easier to reach. All the measurements of the cabinet needs to be relevant with the measurement of the fridge. In case of single door refrigerators, they are 30 inches wide, and we need to make certain clearances match so that it will be equal to the cabinet.
One of the most important to keep in mind is the hinges. They should always be in line with the measurement of the fridge so that they don’t touch each other. There should be enough clearance between the hinges of the fridge against the hinges of the cabinets.
- Third step is choosing the wood. The cabinets need to match the rest of the kitchen. We can use the same wood type as with the rest of the kitchens. This way, we have a bold single style with the whole room. Also, we have to match including the crown moldings with the ones that are already used by the rest of the kitchen cabinets.
