Father’s Day Celebration

Since the early twentieth century, 52 countries started to celebrate Father’s Day. It is a given date to celebrate fatherhood. We look up to our fathers as the head of the family. This is why they deserve to be honored and tribute during Father’s Day. There are a lot of things we can do during Father’s Day. There are simple things and activities that we will sure to enjoy with our dads.

The following are the things we can do to celebrate Fathers Day:

• What can a better way to celebrate Father’s Day than just pampering our dads with our culinary activities? For sure fathers would enjoy a breakfast in bed with us together with a very delicious breakfast meal we just cooked. We can also cook his favorite dish during lunch, and why not treating him to his favorite restaurant for dinner. He will sure to enjoy all of this, and it can be our own way of saying Thank you to him for all his hard works just to provide for his family.
• Another thing we can do for dad during Father’s Day is to buy him something he really likes. It can be a shirt from his favorite clothing line, a new tie, office shoes, a copy of his favorite music record, an autographed picture from his baseball hero, etc. Remember all those times he cannot buy for himself and always think of the family first. Now is our time to give him back the love he has provided us along the years.
• One thing fathers really lime is a ticket to their favorite game. We can try earning before hand for that basketball ticket he has been planning about. Or the baseball game that he really wanted to go to. We can buy tickets for the whole family so that we can share the fun with him. This will not be much after all of his hard works and sacrifices that he gave for us.
• Our fathers love it when we try not to spend so much on gifts. We can try making a Father’s Day scrapbook for him. It can be a collection of all our pictures with dad. It can really be a pleasure for him to see and recall all those memories we had with him through our pictures.
• We need to remember not to limit Father’s Day with just our dads. It is a celebration for every father we meet. It can be our brother, uncle, our boss, our teacher and every father around us. They deserve to be greeted during this special day. It is for us to honor them.
• In case some of us don’t have our fathers anymore, the best thing we can do is to share the occasion with our loved ones who are already fathers. We can also give donations to our father’s favorite charity when he was still alive. This can keep people remembering him even after his death.
