Ways Of Obtaining Knowledge
In this article, we are going to discuss about the ways on how we can acquire knowledge. We will learn how important knowledge is to us and how we can improve it.

Having the right amount of knowledge is very important. We spend almost half of our lifetime studying in schools just to obtain knowledge. Not only that, we also do our part by self-studying. This is because each of the things we know will help us get through with life. We have to know at least a little about almost everything. It is the very essence of being a responsible person. When we are ignorant of many things, it will be difficult for us to live in this world of educated people.
For us to obtain more knowledge here are the steps to do so:
- Observe
Being a keen observer is a very important step for us to gather more knowledge. All the things we see have certain significance if we know how to give importance to them. Having a big amount of curiosity is needed for us to know better. When we see or witness something and we show interest to it, it means that we are willing to learn more. Willingness is the key for us to gather better understanding of a thing.
- Logic and reason
We should be very good at reasoning. An intelligent person reasons out based on facts. He does not just give opinions whatsoever to a subject without adding his logic into it. More so, he only gives his opinions to a subject that really matters.
- Testimony
Accepting people as they are stated by reality is a sign of being knowledgeable. We cannot hinder or repel something that is already there. But instead, we have to accept those things and see them as our reality. We have to accept the testimony of people saying that the president is good enough, or in other case not good enough. People have their own testimonies as well as ours, yet we know ours is based by facts.
- Revelation
This will come in between of religion and science. Most people believe that we all came from a god and it all starts there until the whole universe is made. Others may have different beliefs. These all are part of obtaining knowledge. Whichever sides we believe in, as long as we can reason it out correctly, we are in the right path. The religious side is actually based on traditions. We follow them because our ancestors have believed in them since the beginning. It will be contradicted then by science, but if we believe our perceptions to be true, we all come in the point of revelation. It is the way on how we think truth is being revealed to us.
Those are the steps we can follow for us to obtain more knowledge.
