Justifying Agnostic Beliefs

Agnostic beliefs id often lined with a great deal of pressure, especially from the outside sources. Agnostic people are often made guilty by people who are into religions. People of agnostic beliefs question the existence of god. They remain true to themselves and stay away from any adoption of faith.

Here are the steps on how to justify your agnostic beliefs:

• For this, all you will need is to have a comfort level with uncertainty and the great will to stand for your beliefs.

• The first main step is to not be pressured by others’ belief of an unknown god. Do not fear of the unknown. There are other things to be afraid of that are real things, and not just something we do not really see.

• Have the belief that if there really is a god, He will judge people not because they believe in Him, but because of how these people led their lives. This would be confusing because if you assume that there is a god, you also believe that there is hell. If you are a good person and does not do evil things, it does not matter if you are agnostic or not. People go to hell because of doing bad things. Stay away from them if it is hell that you fear about.

• There are thousands of religions in our world today. Learn as many as you can. A person is not justified by how many religions he joined into, but of the fact that he never looked into other faith or belief.

• Admit uncertainty and do not be afraid of it. It is alright to say that you do not understand god and if he really exists. The thing that is not right is to say that you do understand even though you are not really following it. You are only asking for the proof before you finally believe.

• Understand that science and religion will never match. Bible stories are not that far from fairy tales. These stories have no proof as science do. Remind yourself of the things that you see, rather than what people say but do not see. If to see is to believe, then let it be shown.

Agnostics are people who are still confused about the existence of god and refuses to believe it as it is not greatly proven yet.
