- First of all, you need to take a few deep breaths. Allow your rib cage and stomach to expand as you inhale and exhale slowly. Do this a few times during work or if you feel like being in deep stress. After just a few breaths, you will sure to feel ease in your mind, body and all. Most people neglect the power of taking in deep breaths in making their stress level be reduced. It is actually the most effective way to meditate.
- If you are finding much stress from the area you are working in, try to find a new venue. Try taking a break and take a walk. If you are in the middle of working hours, just go to the water cooler. By doing that, you can recall the thoughts that you need and you can focus on your work more when you get back on your seat.
- Laugh. Yes, do that. It won’t sound that crazy. If you are talking with your office mates, practice the habit of always being humorous. That way, one always has a reason to laugh even though you are just passing by. You can also try bringing a joke book in the office which you can read on while taking a ten minutes break or so.
- Get a stress foam ball and play with it. It effectively helps people who are trying to relieve stress.
- If you feel really tired and just want to go home, you can put on a soothing music while on headphones. Close your eyes and just finish the music. After that, you will feel at ease. You can try meditation music's that goes on for around 4 to 5 minutes. It would truly help you relieve that stress.
- What do you want when you are in stress? Of course, you want to just sit on a soft couch and lie there. Then think about that while you’re at work. imagine that you are actually sitting on a couch. You can tilt your head when doing this so you will really feel that visualization you are doing.
- Avoid having misunderstandings with people you are with at work. it can just add to the load of stress you are going through.
