The Democrats in the government are committed to stopping the discrimination when it comes to sexuality—each and every individual must be given due respect regardless of sexual preferences.  They are also committed to creating a fair justice system that gives minor offences another chance to life.

Democrats on Immigration Reform

They are not opposed to immigration for foreigners to the country as long as it is done legally. Democrats are open on giving illegal immigrants a chance to earn American citizenship providing that they admit of breaking the law, pay for penalties and corresponding taxes and learn to speak in English. As Democrats are strongly against discrimination, they want to create an equal playing field for both all workers. Exploitation by employers on immigrants is closely monitored to ensure that immigrants are also protected.

Democrats on Environment

Protecting the natural resources and ensuring the good quality of water, air and land for the next generations to come. The Democrats lead by the Obama administration is investing in clean-energy solutions to restore the ecosystem and protect the country’s most endangered species.  While Republicans view animals as a source of food, Democrats are seeing them as living things that also needs love and care and that they also deserve to be respected.

Democrats on Education

Currently, the Democrats are fighting to make education a top priority—reducing class size, hiring high quality teachers and modernizing of facilities. They support distance learning as a way to getting a college degree.
